HM Custom C79 Vat Certificate
Hi
How do we deal with the C79 form? It's for reclaiming VAT we've paid on non EU imports.

Hi Steve, you would raise a purchase for it.
With purchases (unlike orders) you can just enter a Product Description without linking it to a stock product and adjust the VAT accordingly.
Anything you add in the VAT box will be included in Box 4 of your VAT return (VAT reclaimed on purchases) and allow the VAT to be reclaimed back and the purchase total will be included in box 7 of your VAT return (total value of purchases).
