Manage Users

Manage Users

Add people to this Easify server from Easify Web. You need the Manage Users permission. Open it from the sidebar Tools menu.

Sign in is always the easify.co.uk email and password. The username on this server is that email. There is no separate Easify login name.

Adding a user

Click Add. Fill in:

  • Email, first name, surname — required. If they already have an easify.co.uk account, that login is used; a second account is not created.
  • Password — set one now, or leave it blank and we email them a link to set a password.
  • Website company administrator — off means they are a website company user. This is only for easify.co.uk company details. It is not the same as tenant permissions below.
  • User subscription — unused Easify Web, unused Easify Pro from this company, or no subscription yet. If they already have a current user subscription, that picker is hidden.
  • Permissions — the same tenant permissions as Easify Pro.

A user subscription is valid on any Easify server. If they already have one, adding them here does not consume another. If this company has no unused subscription of the type you pick, they are saved unlicensed. Buy a subscription from the website store, then assign it on this page.

Unlicensed people appear in Manage Users but cannot sign in to Easify until a current user subscription is assigned.

Assign or unassign a subscription later

Select an existing user. If they have no current subscription, pick unused Easify Web or Easify Pro and click Assign subscription.

Unassign subscription frees that user subscription. They will not be able to log into any Easify server until a subscription is assigned again. This is not the same as Disable.

Disable and enable

Disable turns the person off on this server only. Their user subscription is unchanged, and they can still use other servers. Enable restores this server if they still have a current subscription.

The built-in Administrator account cannot be disabled.

Easify Pro

Easify Pro does not add users. In Pro you can still edit permissions and enable or disable people. Add them in Easify Web.
